About Us
We’re The Velvet Bakery, and we’ve been a bakery here in Oak Lawn, IL, since 2010. We specialize in cakes for any occasion, including weddings, birthdays, graduations, communions, and holidays. We also offer paczki, strudels, cannolis, eclairs, pound cakes, and more. We started this business to provide Chicagoland with great sweets, and we believe in using fresh ingredients and baking with love. We’re looking forward to partnering with Chicago Ridge, Burbank, and Bridgeview consumers to continue to offer a premier cake shop experience. Highly recommend this bakery. They prepared multiple birthday cakes for our family. They made sure every detail on the cake was perfect and exactly what we wanted. They are able to do fondant decorations, as many places do not. They are nice, responsive, and flexible. I'm so happy we have this bakery near us because I will not use anyone else.
